Enphase Energy Announces New Commercial Solar Initiative
New commercial installer tools, training and rewards rollout at SPI 2012
Orlando, Fla., Sept. 10, 2012 — Enphase Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENPH), today announced a new commercial solar initiative to help fuel the momentum of commercial solar and equip installers with a full solution to meet demand for commercial solar projects. The new program includes an expanded Commercial Solution, a "Limitless" program that offers cash rewards for using th Enphase® Microinverter System in commercial projects and partnership benefits that support installers in the growth of their business.
"Commercial solar projects are becoming more widespread and Enphase offers commercial installers a technology solution with a modular architecture, integrated intelligence, lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE) and increased project profitability," said Bill Rossi, Chief Marketing Officer of Enphase Energy. "We’ve strengthened our commercial offering by developing new installer tools to complement the Enphase® Microinverter System, plus created a new rewards program designed to help drive the growth of our customers' business."
The Enphase Commercial Solution
Enphase has introduced a full solution for commercial installers designed for faster installation, reduced system design costs and lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE) that can increase the size of solar installation businesses.
More than 1,000 solar installers partner with Enphase on commercial projects at locations ranging from educational institutions, retail buildings, housing complexes and sports stadiums. Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals in St. Louis, Missouri now features a 26kW system with 110 Enphase M215 microinverters, installed by Microgrid Solar.
"We chose to install Enphase microinverters to overcome a variety of design challenges—including varying azimuths, panel tilts of zero, ten and 33 degrees and varying module power capacities and shading from 11 flapping Major League Baseball World Series flags," said Marc Lopata, president of Microgrid Solar. "With the high number of spectators in the area during baseball games, concerts and other events, limiting high voltage DC was a key safety component."
Limitless Cash Rewards
The "Limitless" promotion offers cash rewards for using Enphase microinverters in commercial projects. Available now through March 31, 2013, all PV solar installers and developers in the United States and Canada are eligible to participate. There are two ways to earn "Limitless" monthly cash rewards.
- Project registration bonus: Register an upcoming commercial project that is currently in the bid process using Enphase microinverters and earn up to $500 upon system activation in Enlighten.
- Project activation reward: Install and activate a commercial project using Enphase microinverters and earn up to $3 per microinverter upon system activation in Enlighten.
