President, Chief Executive Officer
Since 2007, Paul Nahi has led Enphase Energy from pioneering the world’s first microinverter to becoming a global provider of energy management solutions. Previous to Enphase, Paul served as the CEO of Crimson Microsystems, a fabless semiconductor company for the telecommunications industry. Before Crimson, he was the CEO and co-founder of the semiconductor company, Accelerant Networks, subsequently acquired by Synopsis, Inc. He has participated as a Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum Annual Meetings in Davos, and has developed initiatives for the Clinton Global Initiative. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California, and serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering.
Co-founder, Chief Technology Officer
Martin Fornage is a 20-year veteran of the telecom equipment industry where he designed a large variety of functions, ranging from power supplies and fiber optics to wireline and radio communications. He brings a wealth of practical experience designing high reliability, high volume and cost effective electronics susceptible to being deployed in harsh environments. Martin co-founded Enphase Energy with Raghu Belur in March of 2006. He led the initial technology development at Enphase, focusing on the power train and its control as well as the communication system. He now focuses on advanced technologies at the company, and he holds over 25 US patents. Martin received his “Ingénieur Diplômé d’État” degree from ENSEA, France in 1985.
Co-founder, Vice President of Products and Strategic Initiatives
Raghu has more than 20 years of experience in the clean energy and high technology industries. Prior to Enphase, he developed high-speed optical communication technology for Cerent, which was later acquired by Cisco Systems for $7 billion. Before Cerent, Raghu was an engineer at the Indian Institute of Science, where he played a key role in the development of an alternative energy gasification system. He co-founded Enphase Energy with Martin Fornage in 2006. Raghu has a MSEE from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Kris has over 20 years of experience in finance and general management, working in both the U.S. and international markets. Prior to Enphase, he was the CFO at Standard Microsystems (SMSC), a fabless semiconductor company, where he managed global teams of over 100 finance, IT, investor relations and marketing communication professionals. Kris also held CFO and other high-ranking financial positions at companies such as ON Semiconductor, AMI Semiconductor and Alcatel. Kris earned a bachelor and master degree in Economics from the University of Ghent, Ghent, Belgium and a master degree in financial management from the Vlerick Management School, Ghent, Belgium.
Senior Vice President of Engineering
Greg spent the early portion of his career with Texas Instruments and DSC Communications Corporation in various manufacturing and operations positions. He served as the Vice President of Operations and later the Chief Operating Officer for the telecommunications company Advanced Fiber Communications. Greg also served as the Chief Executive Officer for the Nelson Family of Companies, a human capital and staffing firm. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.
Senior Vice President of Global Sales, Marketing and Support
Jeff brings more than 20 years of senior sales and marketing management experience from leading high technology companies to Enphase. Previously, Jeff was Senior Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa at Seagate Technologies, a leading storage solution provider, where he held multiple senior sales and marketing operational roles. Jeff also brings valuable marketing and channel experience from senior marketing leadership roles at the Life Fitness Division of Brunswick, Zenith Data Systems and Apple. Jeff holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.
Vice President of Quality and Reliability
Ciaran joins Enphase after previously holding key quality and product positions at Hitachi Global Storage Technologies and IBM. At Hitachi, Fox managed over 500 technical personnel responsible for all product and process quality issues and led multiple task force teams for reliability improvement. Before Hitachi, Fox was the technical expert for testing and reliability issues at IBM for almost a decade. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Material Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations
Darien joins Enphase with over 30 years of manufacturing, supply chain and product development experience in the high tech industry. He has spent 20 years of his career running operations in Asia and Europe for international OEM’s such as Maxtor Corporation, serving as Senior Vice President of Asia Operations and Peak International serving as President and COO. Darien was also Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Novasolar Corporation where he was responsible for all aspects of the solar company’s day-to-day operations. He has been responsible for operations of over 15,000 employees and P&L’s in excess of $4 Billion annually.
Vice President of Global Human Resources
Steve has 20 plus years of human resources experience leading global teams, and he joins Enphase from his most recent senior human resources position at Cadence Design Systems. For 13 years, Lapointe played key leadership roles in the human resources team at Cadence, reaching vice president for the last five years of his tenure there. Prior to his experience at Cadence, Lapointe held various HR management positions at companies such as Westwood Pembroke Health Systems and the Brooks Pharmacy chain located in the northeast of the U.S. Lapointe has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
Vice President of Product Management
Stefan has over 20 years of technology marketing and product management leadership experience across multiple geographies. Prior to joining Enphase, Stefan was the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Raydiance. Stefan also served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Nanosolar and before Nanosolar, he was a Vice President of New Market Development and Global Product Management at First Solar, where he focused on power plant solutions in the U.S and emerging markets such as India and the Middle East. Earlier in his career Stefan held executive leadership positions at Formfactor and Hewlett-Packard. Stefan studied at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business Executive Marketing Management Program and holds a masters equivalent degree in electrical engineering from Technical-University Hamburg-Harburg, Germany.
