At sites all across North America, from Hawaii to Ontario, Canada, installers have test-driven the new M215s and Engage Cable in both residential and commercial installations. The enthusiasm these first installers shared with us about the new product was very encouraging and gratifying to the whole Enphase team. To share their enthusiasm with you, we headed out to some of these first M215 installations and caught up with our installer partners to capture their reactions to Enphase’s latest innovations. Special thanks to the Solar Universe crews in Livermore, Santa Rosa and Silicon Valley Territory, Complete Solar Solution and Sentinel Solar for hosting and sharing with us!

Love it. Great to see the power in action!
What is the racking shown in the video? It looks pretty nice.
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your question. The guys over at SolarUniverse say the racking for both installs is IronRidge.
I can tell you first hand it’s really nice. It’s not the cheapest, but it looks great, installs fast and is tough as nails (attachment every 8′). It’s WEEB compatible and (obviously) Enphase compatible.
Also had the opportunity to handle some 215′s last week. Gotta say, only having to deal with one bolt and the large improvement over the D380′s cabling system is just one of those things that makes an installer’s life easier, and the 25-year warranty certainly helps on the sales side. Great job, Enphase!
Is the M215 also available in 50 Hz version?
Hi Steve,
Yes, Enphase is in the process of introducing a 50 Hz, 230 volt 215 microinverter to serve European markets.
We are currently installing the new 215′s on a 10.34 kW solar array in North Houston. Smooth sailing so far!
Having issues with the EMU connecting to the online monitoring with the 215s. Moved its location is various places, we always add bridges, no bars… anyone else having issues?
Thanks for your question, Mike. Try also visiting Enphase’s user community for questions like this: http://community.enphaseenergy.com. Lots of experienced, helpful folks there.
Try using a Phase Coupler, either hard wired in the service panel or one of the Dryer plug piggy back ones. Solved my Comm issues at once.
how many of these inverters can be paralled with soft grid?
Please hurry on a splice kit. I miss the M190. I miss not needing to install 6 j-boxes on a multiple array system.
