In September, we passed a very significant milestone: the 1,000,000th microinverter.
It seems hard to believe that we shipped our first microinverter just three years ago.
At the time, we were introducing a completely new inverter technology into an industry focused on module innovations.
We knew that our approach offered a clear answer to installations with shade or mixed orientation problems. But it turned out that this was only the tip of the iceberg.
Our customers began telling us about other problems that microinverters could solve, ranging from concerns about electrical safety to challenges in managing fleets of systems.
For us, this wasn’t just educational; it was inspirational. We were given a reason to continually innovate and to think of our market in terms of millions.
Today, we are moving forward faster than ever. And our customers’ ideas and challenges are what motivate us to keep pushing our technology to new heights.

Since the very early announcement of Enphase Micro Inverters, I have been attracted to this unique product. I tried to be in contact and to get a simple question, answered: “what is the budgetary price of this product?” Until todate, I never got any answer. Nevertheless, I wish to extend my sincere Congratulations to the company and that someday, someone in Enphase would be willing to communicate with me, to explore the possible marketing of these Mocro inverters in my country.

I’ve been intrigued with this product since first coming across it during solar panel research. If the US would only realize the potential by having these in use on 30-40% of residences in this country, we’d be free of present dependencies on foreign oil.
I’m chomping at the bit for my state to reinstate tax incentives and then my roof will be soaking in the energy thanks to your innovative inverter.
