With all the Enphase news in Germany and the United Kingdom, we’re happy to report that attendance in North America at the Enphase Experience 2012 roadshow so far has ranged from one infant to many veteran electricity experts.
In Denver, Colorado, Chris Deline of NREL stopped by with his young son after authoring and releasing his study PV Shading Testbed for Module-level Power Electronics at the World Renewable Energy Forum (WREF). In Grand Prairie, Texas, our own Goldie crowdsurfed among fresh college graduates starting new careers in solar energy. During stops in southern California—Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego—long-time electrical engineers, contractors and even IT professionals shared their plans to expand their businesses using the Enphase Microinverter System in solar installations.
- In New Orleans, the tour was hosted by Woodward Design+Build, one of the largest design firms in the region and where a 65kW system was installed earlier this year.
- In Denver, Teff Reed, director of Field Applications Engineering at Enphase presented at two sessions at WREF.
- In Petaluma, San Diego, Denver and Hauppauge, the tour featured a guest appearance from Duncan Cleminshaw of Zep Solar who demonstrated the Zep Groove that easily clips an Enphase microinverter to a Zep-compatible solar module.
And there is still time to join the tour – come test the new array gun, see the Engage coupler and learn more about new enhancements to Enlighten monitoring software! Next stop: Canada x3.
