“We’ve always had a very strong relationship with Enphase, in part due to our alignment in terms of commitment to excellence and continual innovation toward meeting the needs of our customers. When Enphase came to us with the opportunity to begin installing their new, true three-phase inverters, we didn’t hesitate because of the thousands of reliable 240 V split-phase micros we've installed over the years. Our crew ran strings of 12 PV modules with the center tap at each six modules, making the installation very straightforward.”

Why solar?
The decision to invest in solar energy was driven by a desire to generate positive cash flow, take advantage of tax benefits, and increase the overall value of multiple properties. Gary Cook is the property owner, and partners with Seth Cavin, who shares in property ownership and is the Principal Architect with Spur Design.
“We’ve consistently seen increases in our utility expenses,” Gary notes, “and we needed to find a way to hedge against those increases. EightTwenty presented us with an excellent opportunity to offset 101% of our electricity consumption with solar and take advantage of the tax benefits available through the Inflation Reduction Act.”
Why Enphase?
This proven installer and the property owners were aligned regarding product selection being a critical decision.
Gary explains that “our trust in EightTwenty’s choice to partner with Enphase provided the confidence we needed to move forward. We’re excited to be included in the rollout of the new three-phase commercial Enphase microinverters, and to take advantage of the added efficiency they will provide. The industry-leading warranty provides additional assurance that our solar power plant will produce the power we need for decades.”
