Science meets solar in interactive museum

The Saint Louis Science Center welcomes more than one million visitors each year. Adding rooftop solar to the building would not only reduce operating costs, but it would provide an educational opportunity for visitors to learn about solar energy. 

Installer Microgrid Energy chose Enphase microinverters because it allowed them to significantly reduce design time, streamline the installation process, and create an aesthetically pleasing system with higher energy production. What’s more, the Enlighten monitoring system enabled the Scient Center to display solar production data in an educational kiosk that connects visitors to the technology on the roof.
