Texas food bank defines social responsibility

Caritas of Waco, a non-profit charity that has provided food, clothing, and household items to people in need since 1967, decided it was time to expand its social impact by reducing its carbon footprint with solar energy. However, the rooftop of Caritas posed several design challenges. 

Faced with limited rooftop space and shading issues, Installer Holtek Solar chose Enphase microinverters to maximize system size and production. The microinverters enabled a more flexible system design where each panel operates independently and therefore does not impact the rest of the system when shaded.
