Celebrating 1,500 Volunteer Hours with GRID Alternatives

Celebrating 1,500 Volunteer Hours with GRID Alternatives

Since 2010, Enphase has proudly partnered with GRID Alternatives to bring solar power to working families. Today, all of us at Enphase are celebrating a milestone with GRID. With the install happening today right here in Enphase's home town of Petaluma, the total of Enphase employee volunteer hours spent installing solar on low-income houses in the Bay Area tops 1,500.

The good folks over at GRID put together the below infographic to visually represent the difference that Enphase has made in the community.

Enphase Sr. VP of Manufacturing Greg Steele had this to say about the milestone.

“We partnered with GRID Alternatives very early on as a company because we believed in the value they bring to families in our community who need clean, affordable energy the most,” said Greg Steele, senior vice president of manufacturing for Enphase. “GRID is also to be commended for the critical hands-on job training they provide for aspiring solar installers. We are proud to continue supporting them as both of our organizations expand and flourish.”
