IQ Gateway software release notes (7.6.323)
September 27, 2023

IQ Gateway software version 7.6.323 supports grid-tied storage systems with the IQ8 Series Microinverters along with IQ Battery 3T or 10T for Greece, Germany, and Austria. It can be integrated with an IQ Energy Router to monitor and control residential loads, like EV chargers and heat pumps, for Germany and Austria. The released software supports grid-tied, solar-only systems with IQ8HC Microinverters in India and grid-tied, solar-only systems with IQ8 Series Microinverters in Switzerland. This release enables the consumption CT-based Phase Imbalance Management (PIM) as the default method for complying with phase-balancing requirements.

  • Gateways supported: IQ Gateway Metered, IQ Gateway Standard

  • Countries: Greece, Germany, Switzerland, India, and Austria

  • Microinverters supported: IQ8 Series (IQ8MC-72-M-INT, IQ8AC-72-M-INT, IQ8HC-72-M-INT, IQ8PLUS-72-M-INT, IQ8M-72-M-INT), compatible third-party string inverters

  • Supported system configurations:

    • Grid-tied solar only system with IQ8HC Microinverters and IQ Gateway Metered in India

    • Grid-tied solar only system with IQ8 Series Microinverters and IQ Gateway Metered in Greece, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria

    • Grid-tied solar and storage system with IQ8 Series Microinverters, IQ Gateway Metered, and IQ Battery 3T/10T in Greece, Germany, and Austria

    • Grid-tied solar and storage systems with compatible third-party string inverters, IQ Gateway Metered, and IQ Battery 3T/10T in Greece, Germany, Switzerland, India, and Austria

    • Grid-tied solar and storage systems with IQ8 Series Microinverters, IQ Gateway Metered, IQ Energy Router, and IQ Battery 3T/10T for Germany and Austria

    • Grid-tied solar and storage systems with IQ7 Series Microinverters, IQ Gateway Metered, IQ Energy Router, and IQ Battery 3T/10T for Germany and Austria

Release notes:

# Feature Description
1 Support for Austria Grid-tied IQ Battery 3T/10T is now available in Austria.
2 Increases battery capacity available for self-consumption Enphase Energy System owners can now use more of their battery capacity for self-consumption. Gateway software 7.6.125 enables batteries to discharge to 2% State of Charge (SoC) during normal operation. Previously batteries were restricted to discharge to 10% SoC to maintain battery health. The 7.6.125 software includes firmware version 2.1.29 for the Battery Management Unit (BMU) which ensures battery health even when discharging down to 2% SoC.

This release is being deployed via remote software upgrades for existing systems.
