Enphase was founded in 2006 with the mission of delivering technology solutions that make clean energy affordable, reliable and accessible to all and we are glad to announce that we recently shipped our 20 millionth microinverter, representing an installed base of over 4 GW.

How do we do it?
Enphase microinverters are subjected to rigorous reliability and quality testing regimen, with over one million hours of test cycles. The microinverters are designed to be long-lived energy assets, expected to be operational in heat, high humidity, salty air, extreme cold and across the harshest climate conditions inhabited by humans. To further help ensure quality and durability, Enphase microinverters do not contain complicated moving parts or easily breakable components, such as fans.
We are currently working on the 8th generation of our microinverters, which leverages Enphase’s 55nm custom ASIC for higher reliability, better upgradeability, and the benefits of scalability. The microinverters are available as discrete components to solar installers, as integrated components in segment-leading solar modules, and integrated into Enphase energy storage products.
It has taken 12 years of innovation, 7 generations of microinverters, 4 generations of ASICs, 330+ patents and your belief in Enphase to achieve this landmark of 20 million microinverter shipments.
