Dynamic load balancing

The system monitors home consumption and lets the IQ EV Charger 2 dynamically adjust the charging power. This prevents main switchboard tripping, protecting the home, and avoids the need for expensive switchboard upgrade during installation.

Automatic phase switching

On integration with home solar system, localised solar charging* enables near real-time tracking of surplus solar and quickly regulates EV charging current in 1 A increments. This ensures high-efficiency green charging.

Built-in phase switching mechanism automatically adjusts EV charging based on available surplus solar. On cloudy days, the IQ EV Charger 2 can initiate charging at as low as 1.38 kW excess solar power thereby maximising efficiency. On sunny days, it can charge up to the maximum set power level.
