Martin Fornage

Martin co-founded Enphase Energy with Raghu Belur in 2006.

At Enphase, he led the technological development of the world’s first microinverter system, focusing on power transfer and control. As Enphase’s chief technology officer from 2006 to 2019, Fornage and his colleagues developed the advanced technologies needed for future energy supply systems . Prior to Enphase, he spent 20 years designing power supply, fibre optic, wired communication and radio communication systems for telecommunication suppliers. Martin Fornage was awarded his “Ingénieur Diplômé d’État” (State Registered Engineer) degree from the French École Nationale Supérieure de l'Électronique et de ses Applications (ENSEA) (Graduate School of Electronics and Computer Science). He holds 77 U.S. patents.
