It was a rainy start to this year's Intersolar Europe in Munich, Germany, but that didn't stop tens of thousands of solar professionals from making their way to the New Munch Trade Fair Center for three days of exhibitions from solar companies around the world. According to event organizers, 1,909 exhibitors from 49 countries gathered to exhibit their solar products and services, making the event the most international Intersolar Europe yet.

Last week, two Enphase Energy teams, "Enerobic" and "Ensane", journeyed to San Francisco to take part in one of the most infamous and extreme sporting events - the 32nd Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon.

The heart-pounding action featured a 1.5 mile swim through cold, shark-infested waters, a rigorous 18 mile bike race and a demanding 8 mile run through the Golden Gate recreational area. Congrats to the teams on this fun and challenging triathlon!

The Busch Stadium solar array is a 26kW small commercial system consisting of 110 M215 Microinverters matched with Schott 240W and  235W solar modules.  The Enphase Microinverter System was chosen for this project by Microgrid Solar for their multiple benefits and their ability to overcome a number of design challenges.

Over 100 installers and customers rallied in Petaluma, Calif., at the Enphase Experience 2012 roadshow kickoff.  A range of solar enthusiasts—from recent college graduates to seasoned roofers to solar finance professionals—took turns testing their point-and-click array building skills with a demo of Enphase’s upcoming mobile-app-connected array tool for Enlighten.

Solarexpo 2012 was held in Verona, Italy, last week, and the Enphase team was there to spread the word about the Enphase Microinverter System to the world's second largest solar market. The growing Enphase Italy team welcomed visitors to the booth, who came to learn about microinverters and enjoy refreshments such as fresh espresso, parmesan cheese and prosciutto. Over the three days of the show, visitor numbers reached over 70,000, making Solarexpo one of the top three solar events in the world.

The Gilbert Christian Schools Solar Project is a 203.46kW solar installation that spans two campuses in Gilbert, Arizona. The project consists of 852 Enphase M215 microinverters matched with solar modules from Sharp Electronics. The project is primarily installed on a fixed-tilt ballasted non-penetrating roof mount system from Applied Energy Technologies.
