Enphase has been named the number one North American residential PV monitoring company in GTM Research and SoliChamba Consulting’s latest report, Global PV Monitoring: Technologies, Markets and Leading Players, 2014-2018. According to the report, Enphase is noted as the fastest growing residential PV monitoring provider in the world. These findings were published as the number of sites monitored across the globe by Enphase’s proprietary Enlighten software platform surpassed 160,000.
“This recognition exemplifies our commitment to product innovation, quality and technology leadership,” said Paul Nahi, CEO of Enphase Energy. “Enphase monitors 160,000+ systems globally and collects over 500 GB of performance data daily. Solar professionals can leverage this data to perform remote diagnostics and rapidly prioritize customer-service needs, driving valuable efficiencies in operations and maintenance.”
GTM Research and SoliChamba’s 2014 report analyzed 70 global monitoring vendors, including independent software providers (ISPs), solar inverter manufacturers and downstream solar firms. The report states that American monitoring providers like Enphase may become the largest players globally in the years to come.
“The PV monitoring landscape is highly competitive, yet Enphase retained its leadership position for two consecutive years in the North American residential PV market,” said Cedric Brehaut, author of the GTM Research report and founder of SoliChamba Consulting. “In fact, the report analyzed the PV monitoring landscape across many global markets, and Enphase moved up in rank in the residential PV monitoring segment in multiple countries, such as the UK, France, Italy and the rest of Europe.”
