Enlighten Manager is the managing doctor for every Enphase Energy system out there; it is truly an intelligent monitoring and maintenance tool for both installers and customers. There are 3 must-know enhancements inside Enlighten Manager: 1) an excellent sales tool for helping spread awareness of the power of an Enphase “safe AC” system, 2) simplified warranty management without having to use Array Builder, and 3) access to carbon footprint data demonstrating the green energy power of the energy system.
1) Your Enphase system is a great sales tool.
With Enlighten Manager, you can now easily market your solar system. Enlighten Manager can provide you with a hyperlink of your solar system that you can send to people whom you want to be able see your system as you see it in Enlighten Manager. Here’s how to do it:
Inside Enlighten Manager, access your system’s Settings (see arrow pointing to the Settings icon):
In the Settings near the bottom is a section on Privacy Settings. First, you must enable your system to be seen publicly by clicking on the checkbox, and then the hyperlink for access will be shown which you can market to other interested parties.
You can click on this public hyperlink as an example: https://enlighten.enphaseenergy.com/public/systems/mtg2257754
2) Enlighten can generate carbon footprints.
Select the icon next to the Settings icon on the main Enlighten Manager screen; it is a video TV icon (see yellow arrow below).
Selecting the Environmental Benefits tab shows the carbon footprint effect your system has had on the environment. This data is modeled after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Energy Equivalencies calculator.
3) Enlighten has automated warranty replacement.
The process of generating a warranty repair has been simplified. No longer do you need to get into Enlighten’s Array Builder to remove a microinverter, and then add a replacement. Here’s how to do it:
Inside Enlighten Manager, get into your system’s settings. Scroll about halfway down until you see the following:
Installing the warranty replacement is as simple as making the request. To begin, select “Install Replacement”.
