Solar Canada 2011 & CanSIA's Project of the Year Award

The Enphase team was back on the trade show floor last week at Solar Canada 2011, Canadian Solar Industries Associations’ (CanSIA) annual conference and exposition. The event kicked off with live Enphase pre-show trainings on Sunday, December 4th, to an eager audience wanting to learn tips and tricks to installing the Enphase Microinverter System (for those who have been unable to attend a live Enphase training, check out our free online training webinars taking place regularly).

Enphase enthusiasm was high as usual as the Enphase team welcomed visitors to the interactive booth.

Current and prospective customers, home and business owners and Enphase partners all came by to try their hand at the Enphase Microinverter System. Many of them also paused for a snapshot with "Goldie" the Millionth Microinverter, who made a special appearance in the booth, and you can see the pics below or on our Flickr stream.

And the Enphase team had reason to celebrate at the show this year - an Enphase-powered installation won CanSIA's Solar PV Project of the Year Award! The award is given to, "the photovoltaic project that either through high visibility or innovative features has helped the photovoltaic industry become mainstream." The project by RESCo Energy Inc. is a 66kW roof mounted array atop the Mountain Equipment Co-op in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Enphase recently featured this install as an Array of the Week on the Enphase Community. Click here to read more about this award-winning installation.
