For Enphase App users on Smart Solar Billing plan in Illinois:

1. Updated Electricity Rate Settings

   Users can add and view their Hourly Dynamic Prices by selecting their Utility and Rate Name. Go to Menu > Settings > Electricity Rate

   

2. Updated Battery Settings

   Users can set their batteries to charge from grid or discharge to the grid as per the battery mode set during system commissioning by the installer. Go to Menu > Settings > Battery

   

3. Update Site Details

   Users can view their grid connection details: Connection Type, Connection Year and Battery Mode. Go to Menu > System > Site Details

   Users are now notified with a clear banner on the Status page when the Gateway isn’t reporting data, along with steps to reconnect.

1. We have added Red Flag Warnings to the list of weather alerts that activate the Storm Guard feature. The updated list is more closely focused on the alerts that most commonly cause grid outages.

1. New FAQ on how to check that a system is functioning normally 

   We have added a new FAQ entry with easy-to-follow instructions on how to monitor your system’s health and performance, control your devices remotely, and identify and address any potential issues. Navigate to Menu > Support > Browse all FAQs to see all the FAQs.

• Enhanced the Microinverter not reporting logic to notify users whenever even just one microinverter is not reporting or producing.
• Fixed an issue that prevented Low Solar Production notifications from being delivered to users.
• Addressed an issue where changes to the system name were not updated immediately.

1. Introduced a Share option on the Array page 

   You can now share a snapshot of the Array page by tapping the Share icon highlighted below. This feature allows you to easily capture the content of the page and share it with others.

What’s new

For Enphase App users with third-party inverters on NEM 3.0 (Net Billing Tariff) in California, or on dynamic tariffs in Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands:

1. AI Optimization profile is now available

   The app now supports the AI Optimization profile for systems with third-party inverters and IQ Batteries. This profile maximizes financial savings based on electricity rates, consumption patterns, and expected solar production. AI Optimization should be selected if the user’s main energy goal is saving more money on utility bills. This feature will be slowly rolled out to users.

For Enphase App users on dynamic tariffs in Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands:

1. New video tutorial on system profiles

   A new video tutorial on system profiles is now available in the app. Go to Menu > Settings > Profile to watch.

1. Addressed the issue of inconsistent carbon footprint units in the app and in email notifications.

For Enphase App users with IQ Batteries:

1. Option to opt out of ongoing storm alerts

   You will now be able to Opt Out of individual storm alerts without disabling the Storm Guard feature. 

   
    

   You can also navigate to Menu > Settings > Profile > Storm Guard to opt out of ongoing alerts.  

   
    

   • When a storm alert is issued, you can opt out if you so choose.  
   • If you opt out, your system profile will be immediately restored to its previous profile.  
   • Opting out of a storm alert allows your battery to continue discharging to support home loads if you feel discharging is more important than preparing the battery for a potential grid outage.  
   • After opting out from an ongoing alert, you have an option to Opt In again from the Storm Guard page.  

2. Storm Guard auto-activation for critical alerts  

   To safeguard your system from blackouts caused by battery depletion, Storm Guard will be automatically activated for critical alerts that have a high chance of causing grid outages.  

   This activation will occur even if the Storm Guard feature had been previously disabled in the app. If Storm Guard is disabled, it will only be activated for the duration of the critical alert. The Opt Out option is not available for critical alerts. 

   

What’s fixed

• Resolved a delay issue in storm alert activation and deactivation for IQ Battery sites in the United States.
• Fixed Event History messaging for storm alerts with a missing end time.
• Corrected the Energy page tags to display correct alert names when multiple alerts are active on the system.
• [For NEM 3.0 and dynamic tariff users] Updated the optimization algorithm to use the site's grid export and import limits for optimal performance.
• [For NEM 3.0 users] Addressed issues where the user’s selection for the Discharge battery to the grid state was not being honored.  
   

What’s new

For Enphase App users with IQ EV Chargers in the United States and Canada:

1. Option to create a new charger-only site for existing Enphase customers

   You can now confirm the site address before commissioning an IQ EV Charger. There is also an option to create a new IQ EV Charger-only site if the charger is installed at a different address than an existing Enphase site.

   

2. Option to refresh Wi-Fi list

   You can now refresh the list of Wi-Fi networks while commissioning an IQ EV Charger, and also while reconfiguring Wi-Fi from the Connectivity settings of your IQ EV Charger within the app.

   

For Enphase App users with IQ EV Chargers in territories of the United States:

1. Support for IQ EV Charger features in U.S. territories

   Users in the following U.S. territories can now commission, control, and monitor IQ EV Chargers using the Enphase App to benefit from its full range of EV charging features.

   • Puerto Rico
   • Northern Mariana Islands
   • Guam
   • American Samoa

1. Added system profile tutorial video

The Profile page now includes a new video tutorial explaining how homeowners can maximize the benefits of their system by choosing the system profile that best suits their needs. The tutorial includes an introduction to the new AI Optimization profile that helps automatically maximize bill savings under NEM 3.0.

What’s fixed

For Enphase App users on NEM 3.0 (Net Billing Tariff) in California:

1. Resolved issues related to changing the system profile from Self-Consumption to AI Optimization.

2. Fixed issues that caused excess solar energy produced by the system to be curtailed instead of exported.

3. Resolved issues in which the Discharge battery to the grid window was not being set in the Self-Consumption system profile.

What’s new

For Enphase App users on NEM 3.0 (Net Billing Tariff) in California with IQ Batteries, and users with IQ Batteries on dynamic tariff or time-of-use rates in Belgium and Netherlands:

1. Introduced new system profile called AI Optimization to help maximize savings
   
   For any NEM 3.0 system in California, as well as systems on dynamic tariff or time-of-use rates in Belgium and Netherlands, we have added a new system profile called AI Optimization. Replacing the former Savings profile, it maximizes financial savings based on electricity rate, consumption pattern, and expected solar production. This profile should be selected if the user’s main energy goal is saving more money on utility bills.

   

2. Exporting to the grid in the Self-Consumption profile for NEM 3.0 systems
   
   For users on NEM 3.0 who prefer to keep their system profile set to Self-Consumption, and for whom the Battery Mode is Export only, the Discharge battery to the grid feature will be available to benefit from high export rates, especially during the months of August and September.

   Whenever the profile is switched to Self-Consumption, the Discharge battery to the grid feature will be auto-enabled. Once enabled, the discharge time window will be automatically set based on the user’s set tariff. If the tariff is missing, the discharge time window will be identified using the NEM 3.0 rates available at the user’s location based on ZIP code.

   Users with their battery in Export only mode can navigate to Menu > Settings > Battery to enable or disable the Discharge battery to the grid feature.

   

3. Updated list of storm alerts and events to improve Storm Guard coverage
   
   We have updated the list of alerts and storm events that activate the Storm Guard feature.

   The updated list is more closely focused on the events that most commonly cause grid outages, thus improving the accuracy of Storm Guard activations.

   The following events have been added to Storm Guard monitoring:

   Flood Watch

   Tornado Watch

   Typhoon Warning

   Hurricane Watch

   Tropical Storm Watch

   
   The following event has been removed from Storm Guard monitoring:

   Radiological Hazard Warning

1. Resolved issues with low battery charge notifications while the system is off-grid.
2. Reduced size and improved resolution of top navigation icons for better user experience.

What’s new

1. Introduced capabilities for configuring an IQ Gateway’s Wi-Fi via Bluetooth

For systems that include an IQ Battery 5P, you can now configure the IQ Gateway’s Wi-Fi connection from a mobile device via Bluetooth. This allows for a smoother setup experience.
