For Enphase App users with IQ EV Chargers in the United States and Canada:
Option to create a new charger-only site for existing Enphase customers
You can now confirm the site address before commissioning an IQ EV Charger. There is also an option to create a new IQ EV Charger-only site if the charger is installed at a different address than an existing Enphase site.
Option to refresh Wi-Fi list
You can now refresh the list of Wi-Fi networks while commissioning an IQ EV Charger, and also while reconfiguring Wi-Fi from the Connectivity settings of your IQ EV Charger within the app.
For Enphase App users with IQ EV Chargers in territories of the United States:
Support for IQ EV Charger features in U.S. territories
Users in the following U.S. territories can now commission, control, and monitor IQ EV Chargers using the Enphase App to benefit from its full range of EV charging features.

1. Added system profile tutorial video
The Profile page now includes a new video tutorial explaining how homeowners can maximize the benefits of their system by choosing the system profile that best suits their needs. The tutorial includes an introduction to the new AI Optimization profile that helps automatically maximize bill savings under NEM 3.0.

For Enphase App users on NEM 3.0 (Net Billing Tariff) in California:
1. Resolved issues related to changing the system profile from Self-Consumption to AI Optimization.
2. Fixed issues that caused excess solar energy produced by the system to be curtailed instead of exported.

What’s new
For all installers:
Change in System Type, permitting, and PV Module details
The Enphase Installer App will require installers to update the System Type, permitting, and PV Module details in Step 1 (System Details) of the commissioning process.
It is recommended that site creation (Step 1) be completed using the new activation form in the Enphase Installer Portal.
Note: Support for the classic activation page will be removed in the coming weeks.
Ability to create an array without scanning microinverters
Installers will now be able to create an array for an Enphase system before scanning microinverters. Alternatively, installers can access the Array Builder from the IQ Microinverters details screen.
For installers in North America:
Support for Busbar Overload Control in Main Panel Upgrade Avoidance
Installers will be able to enable and configure Busbar Overload Control inside Main Panel Upgrade Avoidance, in addition to the Current Limit with NEC 120% Rule.
For installers in Australia and New Zealand:
Option to skip meter wizard steps for backup system commissioning
Installers will be allowed to skip the Production Meter and Consumption Meter sub-steps in the validation step if they are commissioning a backup system with an IQ System Controller INT.

1. Preventing duplicate site creation
We have updated the New Activation Page to help installers avoid creating duplicate sites.
This enhancement is crucial as it prevents data loss in existing sites caused by the creation of duplicate sites during system expansion, storage addition, or site upgrades under the Enphase Upgrade Program.
2. New voltage and phase information for commercial sites
If a commercial site is in either Australia, New Zealand, India, or South Africa, the 230 V Three-Phase option will be shown in the Electrical Parameters field.
If a commercial site is in the United States or Canada, the following options for Electrical Parameters will be shown:
- 208 WYE/120 V Three-Phase
- 240/120 V Single-phase
- 208 V Single-phase

Installers can now generate Systems Yearly Production and Consumption reports from the Reports tab. This report provides energy production and consumption for all of the installer’s systems during the specified years.

What’s new
For Enphase App users on NEM 3.0 (Net Billing Tariff) in California with IQ Batteries, and users with IQ Batteries on dynamic tariff or time-of-use rates in Belgium and Netherlands:
Introduced new system profile called AI Optimization to help maximize savings
For any NEM 3.0 system in California, as well as systems on dynamic tariff or time-of-use rates in Belgium and Netherlands, we have added a new system profile called AI Optimization. Replacing the former Savings profile, it maximizes financial savings based on electricity rate, consumption pattern, and expected solar production. This profile should be selected if the user’s main energy goal is saving more money on utility bills.Exporting to the grid in the Self-Consumption profile for NEM 3.0 systems
For users on NEM 3.0 who prefer to keep their system profile set to Self-Consumption, and for whom the Battery Mode is Export only, the Discharge battery to the grid feature will be available to benefit from high export rates, especially during the months of August and September.Whenever the profile is switched to Self-Consumption, the Discharge battery to the grid feature will be auto-enabled. Once enabled, the discharge time window will be automatically set based on the user’s set tariff. If the tariff is missing, the discharge time window will be identified using the NEM 3.0 rates available at the user’s location based on ZIP code.
Users with their battery in Export only mode can navigate to Menu > Settings > Battery to enable or disable the Discharge battery to the grid feature.
Updated list of storm alerts and events to improve Storm Guard coverage
We have updated the list of alerts and storm events that activate the Storm Guard feature.The updated list is more closely focused on the events that most commonly cause grid outages, thus improving the accuracy of Storm Guard activations.

More intuitive site search screen
We have revamped the site search screen of the Enphase Installer App. The improvements are:
a. The new and more intuitive site search screen allows installers to quickly and easily find the sites they need to work on.
b. Installers will see the systems recently worked on at the top of the list, ensuring quick access to current sites without the need for searching.
Enhanced details in the Consumption CT wizard
Installers will now be able to see PV production readings along with consumption readings in the Consumption CT wizard. This will facilitate faster diagnosis in case of wiring errors.
Enhanced troubleshooting for Enphase Control Cable wiring
If provisioning fails for an IQ System Controller 3/INT or IQ Battery 5P in a 3rd-generation Enphase Energy System, the app will now provide additional troubleshooting steps to ensure proper wiring of the Enphase Control Cable.
Multi-gateway commissioning improvement
We have improved the progress bar for multi-gateway systems to show accurate progress in both AP mode and non-AP mode.
Commissioning alerts in low light conditions
Installers will receive an alert highlighting potential issues when attempting to commission a system in low light conditions, such as after sunset.
Validation details in Summary Report
The Summary Report now includes validation details, showing Complete status when validation has been attempted and successfully passed.
For installers in North America:
Merged IQ Gateway software
Multiple IQ Gateway software versions have been consolidated into a single bucket, reducing the software download size in the Enphase Installer App.
Added non-backup storage commissioning for 208 V sites
The app now allows grid-tied storage commissioning for sites with 208 V grid connections.
Enabled installation of excess PV in third DER port
Installers will now be allowed to install excess PV in the third DER port for backup-only storage configurations.
Permission to Operate (PTO) details on System Details page
In Step 1 (System Details), installers can now indicate if PTO has been received. Based on the input given, installers will be shown steps to disable solar and batteries as necessary or applicable.
[California] Interconnection Application Date now required
Installers now need to provide the interconnection application date when indicating that PTO has been received.
[California] Setting Battery Mode for NEM 3.0 sites
Installers can now set the battery mode for a NEM 3.0 site. They can choose between the Import Only and Export Only options on the battery mode selection page. Installers will have seven days to modify or rectify the battery mode selection, after which the option to change will be disabled.
For installers in Europe and the Middle East:
Disabled PLC scan for cross-communication
Multiple IQ Gateway software versions have been consolidated into a single bucket, reducing the software download size in the Enphase Installer App.
Functional Validation for IQ Energy Router associated devices (EV chargers and heat pumps)
In countries where the IQ Energy Management is available, installers will have an option to validate if associated peripherals like EV chargers and heat pumps are communicating and working properly.

When an Enphase system software update fails, installers will now see the corresponding error codes. These codes can be referred to Enphase Support for better issue identification.

New feature to discharge the energy stored in the IQ Battery to the grid
You can now schedule your battery to discharge to the grid, allowing you to benefit from high energy export rates.
To enable battery discharging:
a. Go to Menu > Settings in the Enphase App.
b. Select Battery.
c. Turn on the Discharge battery to the grid toggle, then set your desired start and end times.

For Enphase App users in Belgium and the Netherlands:
Launched new Savings system profile featuring AI-powered support for Dynamic Tariff and Time of Use rates
You can now further minimize your electricity bill by using the new AI-powered Savings profile that supports Dynamic Tariff and Time of Use rates.
To enable the new Savings profile:
a. Set your electricity rates by navigating to Menu > Settings > Electricity Rate.
b. Then, activate the AI-powered Savings profile by navigating to Menu > Settings > Profile.

Notification when microinverters in your system do not report
Whenever some of the microinverters in your system are not reporting, we will notify you via email, text message, or push message based on your notification preferences. This notification will be gradually rolled out to all users.
To adjust your notification preferences, navigate to Menu > Account > My Notifications.
For Enphase App users in the U.S. and Canada with IQ EV Chargers:
Additional details for IQ EV Charger on Live Vitals page
You can now see live Voltage and Current details for your IQ EV Charger, along with its live Power consumption, on the Live Vitals page.

In the Day view on the Energy page graph, you can now see a breakdown of energy consumption between your IQ EV Charger and the rest of the household. This breakdown is shown in the pop-up when you hover on the graph.

We have added guidelines for the recommended wiring procedure for an IQ Battery 3T/10T.
These guidelines appear in a pop-up that also links to the latest IQ Battery 3T/10 quick install guide, as well as a short training video demonstrating best practices for IQ Battery 3T/10T wiring, if further instruction is needed.
The pop-up will be shown whenever an IQ Battery 3T/10T is scanned.

You can now view the off-peak charging schedule for charging your EV in the Off-Peak section of the Add-on Schedules page of the app.
To set add-on schedules for EV charging, navigate to Menu > Settings > EV Charger > Add-on Schedules.
IQ EV Charger details added to Live Vitals
You can view live data for your IQ EV Charger, such as connection status and the amount of power consumed, on the Live Vitals page.
To access the page, Navigate to Menu > System > Live Vitals.
For systems in the U.K. with an IQ Battery 5P:
Charge battery from the grid feature
You can charge your batteries from the grid once the IQ Gateway software has been updated to version 8.2.82 or above.
To access the Charge battery from the grid feature in the app, navigate to Menu > Settings > Battery.

What’s new
For all installers:
Informing installers in case of multiple polarity reversal attempts for the same system
Installers will now be informed and asked for confirmation if they wish to proceed with the polarity reversal of any meter if the polarity of the same meter was reversed less than 24 hours before. This ensures that polarity reversal is not performed twice unintentionally, resulting in no change in polarity.
Added capability for installer company administrators to specify job roles at the time of new user creation
At the time of new user creation, administrators of installer companies can now specify the job role that the new user has within the installer company. For example, this may include roles such as Project Manager, Marketing/Sales, and Finance.
Added ability to hide installer name at the time of kiosk creation using the Fleet dashboard
We have implemented the ability to hide the installer company’s name and logo at the time of kiosk creation using the Fleet dashboard.

Added Status Since column to the Fleet dashboard
We have included a new column, Status Since, on the Fleet Overview page of the Fleet dashboard. This column provides the date and time that the Status column last changed.
What’s fixed
For all installers:
- Resolved language discrepancies for homeowner email communications. Emails are now sent using the language chosen by the homeowner when setting up the account.
- Corrected syncing of Spanish training courses between Enphase University and the Enphase Installer Portal to ensure they count towards commissioning requirements.
- Fixed the user preference to maintain the preferred view of the Systems page when the user navigates from the new Fleet dashboard to the classic view.

Introduced a Profile page and redesigned the Battery page
The Profile page [Menu > Settings > Profile] offers functionality to enable Storm Guard and select one of the three system profiles [Self-Consumption, Savings, and Full Backup].
The Battery page [Menu > Settings > Battery] now includes the Charge battery from the grid and Battery shutdown level settings.
Revamped public view
The public view allows Enphase Energy System owners to share their system stats with others. We have improved this public view to match the Enphase App's design. Added a new Owner’s Guide for systems with an IQ Battery 5P
The new Owner’s Guide is now available for Enphase Energy Systems with an IQ Battery 5P. This guide explains the components of the system and the ways to monitor and manage the system using the Enphase App.
What’s fixed
For all Enphase App users:
- Improved messaging for when microinverters exhibit low solar production.
- Added events to the Event History section of the app to better communicate when IQ Gateway connectivity is updated or changed.
- Fixed the Grid Status indicator on the Status page so users with backup capabilities no longer see the loader.
- Resolved the issue where the Reports were not sent to the user after generating.
What’s new
For all Enphase installers:
Moved the Replace IQ Gateway feature under Support to the Request return and Install replacement menu within a specific site under Systems
To simplify and streamline the replacement process, users can now only initiate the return of an IQ Gateway by scrolling to the bottom of the page of a particular site on the Systems page, and tapping on the Request return and Install replacement button followed by tapping Replace IQ Gateway. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the Self-service return and replacement technical brief.
Added an option to change Consumption Meter location after the meter is enabled
For sites where a consumption meter has already been enabled, changing the location (Load Only or Load with Solar) is now possible and can be completed on the Meter Configuration page.
Added an option to choose which IQ Gateway is connected to certain storage devices
For sites that contain multiple IQ Gateways, it is now possible on the Devices & Array page to easily configure which storage/backup devices (such as IQ System Controllers, IQ Batteries, and IQ Load Controllers) are connected to each IQ Gateway.
Added confirmation for Permission to Operate
To complete the Functional Validation step, installers must now indicate whether they have received a permit to operate from the utility.
For Enphase installers in Europe:
Added a walkthrough to configure an IQ Relay
A step-by-step guide is now available within the Enphase Installer App when the IQ Relay is in the Open state.
What’s fixed
For all Enphase installers:
- Prevented Auxiliary Contact Validation and Functional Validation if the production and consumption meters are enabled through the Enphase Installer Portal but not enabled on the Enphase Installer App.
- Fixed an issue where the homeowner walkthrough is marked as completed when an IQ System Controller or IQ Battery is added to an existing PV-only system.
- Fixed commissioning discrepancies for systems with multiple IQ Gateways by making the steps completed on one IQ Gateway visible to the second IQ Gateway.
- Fixed an issue where the phase details of an IQ Battery were not sent to the IQ Gateway during provisioning.
