Troubleshooting and support

As we've noted, Enphase Energy Systems are designed to keep working with little maintenance or issues for decades. But we know that sometimes issues pop up, and Enphase Support is here to help.

Identifying system issues

Often, if there are issues with your system, you’ll get an alert from your Enphase App. If you do, you can follow the guidance in the app or search Enphase Support for articles that can help you troubleshoot the issue.

You may have issues arise that are surprisingly simple to fix yourself. If you’re experiencing issues with your IQ Gateway, or find that an IQ Microinverter is having issues but not reporting an error message, we have guides and articles to help you perform some easy fixes. The best place to start is here.

Where to get help if you need it

Your Enphase Energy System is designed to keep turning sunshine into energy savings every day. But your system may occasionally need troubleshooting or maintenance you can’t do yourself. Short of guaranteeing cloud-free days, Enphase offers a range of assistance to make sure your system keeps working at its best.

Get 24/7 support

As you know, Enphase Energy Systems employ some fairly complex hardware and software. And while we test our components extensively before they ever get near your roof, sometimes things glitch. You may not be getting all the data you expect, or you might see an issue with a panel. You may also just have questions about some of your Enphase App functionality or how to ensure you get the most value out of your system.

Enphase Support is available to help at any time of day, any day of the year. If you’re more on the DIY side, we have step-by-step guides for troubleshooting. If you’re on the opposite side and would rather get help, you can call us for support. If you’re somewhere in the middle, you can start an online chat with us to get your questions answered, or have a service call scheduled if it’s something that needs a technician. If necessary, we might direct you to your Enphase-certified installer to come out to assess and address the issue.

Regardless of what help you need or what questions you have, you can get started here.

Ensuring your system stays connected to the internet

It probably won’t happen often, but there may be a time when your system goes offline. This doesn’t necessarily mean your solar energy system isn’t producing, but you may not be able to see any data through your Enphase App. If you do get a Gateway not reporting message in the app, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot on your own to get it back online.

First, make sure your home Wi-Fi is connected to the internet. If you changed internet providers or passwords, that could be a reason as well. If those aren’t the sources of the outage, there are also steps you can take specific to your equipment, such as an IQ Gateway or IQ Combiner, that you can view in the Enphase App.

If none of that does the trick, then you’re always welcome to contact Enphase Support. We may even be able to help you solve the problem remotely.
