HCS-40 with COSMOS and ChargeGuard

The HCS-40 with COSMOS pairs our 32 A EV charger with expanded functionality for use in commercial settings. ChargeGuard enables simple key-based access control. With COSMOS, businesses can easily integrate EV charging with building energy management or other third-party monitoring and control systems. This feature offers two interfaces: the Digital Load Management Interface and the UART Serial Communications Interface. The Digital Load Management Interface allows simple integration with four levels of power control (100%, 50%, 25%, and 0%). On the other hand, the more advanced UART Serial Communications Interface enables developers to integrate with building energy management systems, offers five levels of power control, and provides access to various vehicle and station status information remotely.

The pre-wired secondary conduit comes with a 15-wire interface. This conduit can be wired to an existing building access control or other third party access control system to enable the key features of these COSMOS units. The conduits from two COSMOS units can also be wired to each other to enable the Share2 feature. Please refer to the Optional Features manual or call for further details.

Keep equipment organized with a 25 ft charging cable that hangs up neatly on an integrated cable wrap and holster. Cables and connectors stay off the ground and last longer protected from dust, dirt, and rollovers.
