You've selected a grid-tied system. This means the system will only operate when the grid is up.
You've selected a grid-forming system. This means the system will continue to operate, even when the grid is down.
PV system size is determined by the module wattage and module count input.
Exceeds normally allowed capacity (kVA). Requires special DNO approval for system installation.
For systems greater than kVA, an off the shelf compliant central protection relay must be added to the system.
For systems over 15 kVA single phase and 30 kVA three-phase, please contact enphase for a design review: drs_au@enphaseenergy.com
You may require additional IQ Cable drops if some of your modules in a branch circuit are separated by additional gaps (due to obstacles, inter-row gaps, etc). We recommend to use 1 additional drop per branch circuit.
Select "Yes" if you are centre-feeding branch circuits to reduce voltage rise. Enphase recommends centre-feeding branch circuits to minimise voltage rise in fully populated branches. To centre-feed a branch, divide the circuit into two sub-branch circuits protected by a single overcurrent protection device (OCPD).
The PV module pairing is not applicable for STC rebates in Australia/New Zealand with the selected microinverter.

To prepare this site for the easy addition of IQ Batteries in the future, install an IQ System Controller 3 INT instead of the solar-only IQ Gateway, Solar Distribution Board, IQ Relay, and CTs components. If you have any questions or require design review assistance, please contact Enphase Support.

Service panel voltage
It is the Voltage (V) rating of the main breaker in the service panel.
Service panel amperage
It is the current (I) rating of the main breaker in the service panel. If interconnecting PV system into existing service panel, please ensure PV system sizing complies with NEC section 705.12 (B)(2), not to exceed 20% of service panel amperage rating. Otherwise, a service panel upgrade or line side tap with fused disconnect may be required.
PV System Size
PV System size is determined by the module wattage and module count input.
Typical PV module lengths will be in the range of 1.8m to 2.4m.
Number of extra QD Cable drops
You may require additional QD Cable drops if some of your modules in a branch circuit are separated by additional gaps (due to obstacles, inter-row gaps, etc). This would typically be 5% of the module count.

High electric noise environment
Electrical noise is a high-frequency interference in the frequency spectrum. Noise can be transmitted and picked up by a power cable acting as an antenna, or it can be carried through the power line. Electrical Noise can originate from loads or other devices such as air conditioners, motors heat pumps, industrial machines etc. in commercial and industrial settings and may cause communication disturbances.
