The Electric Water Heater (EWH) integrates seamlessly with the IQ Energy Router, enabling real-time monitoring, smart control and optimization of water heater based on energy availability and cost.

IQ Gateway software version 8.2.4499 release enables the reconnection of selected Enphase IQ Gateways to Enphase Cloud.

This release is being deployed to selected IQ Gateway, IQ Combiner, Envoy S Metered, and Envoy S Standard devices through remote software upgrades for existing systems.    We have provided users with the ability to view the type of microinverter on the array panels on the View tab and Array Builder. When clicking a particular panel, users will also see the microinverter details in the tooltip.

2. Added a new Not Reporting device status for the cell modems

   It is misleading to show the cell modem as retired when it has lost connectivity during operation but has not actually retired. So, like other devices like the battery or microinverter, we have added a new Not Reporting device status for the cell modems in addition to the Normal and Retired statuses.

   Note - This will be gradually rolled out to the systems after the eSW-related changes are deployed per Gateway.

Sites connected to the internet via Enphase Mobile Connect cellular modems will receive a different software version as a maintenance release at a later date.
