In Enphase IQ-installaties functioneert de multifase IQ Relay als een netwerkmonitor- en ontkoppelingsapparaat en bevat een ingebouwde fasekoppelaar voor het verdelen van communicatiesignalen in stroomkabels tussen de fasen. Een externe fasekoppelaar is niet vereist wanneer de IQ Relay is geïnstalleerd. De IQ Relay ontkoppelt de IQ Microinverters fysiek van het net wanneer abnormaliteiten worden gedetecteerd of wanneer dit vereist is door netverordening, en verbindt automatisch weer wanneer de nettoestand weer toepasbaar is.
