All new IQ8 Microinverters installed after the rollout will be auto-upgraded to this new firmware, version 2.48.01.
Use the updated Enphase compatibility calculator to determine the electrical compatibility of PV modules with the Enphase IQ Microinverters.
All IQ8 Series Microinverter documentation has been updated with the new specifications outlined above. Visit the documentation center to view these technical documents.
Due to the rapidly changing PV module landscape, we are witnessing an emergence of PV modules with higher DC output currents. Currently, M10 wafer-based PV modules are the most prevalent in the market. The DC output current of these modules ranges from 13 A to 14 A at standard test conditions (STC). IQ8MC, IQ8AC, and IQ8HC Microinverters with a maximum continuous DC input current of 14 A are ideally suited for these higher-current modules.

All these SKUs support 240 V-split-phase (L-L), 180° grids in a single-phase/split-phase and 208 V-single-phase (L-L), 120°connection.
Yes, IQ8MC, IQ8AC, and IQ8HC Microinverters can be used in the same system and branch along with the IQ8, IQ8+, IQ8M, IQ8A, IQ8H-240, and IQ8H-208 Microinverters. Moreover, these microinverters can be connected to the same IQ Gateway.
Yes. IQ8MC, IQ8AC, and IQ8HC Microinverters support 240 V split-phase and 208 V single-phase in the United States. Check the respective data sheets for more information.
